Jane Christian, Head of Business Science
Jane joined Business Science UK in 2001, after completing her BA and MA in Economics. In the last 16 years Jane has risen from graduate econometrician to Managing Partner, heading up the team since autumn 2009. In that time the team has successfully grown from five analysts to over 40.
Jane has experience across all sectors and many brands including RBS, Direct Line group, Boots, Sky, GSK and IKEA.
Jane was voted one of MediaWeek's 30 under 30 in 2008.
Matthew Wragg, Business Science Director
Matt joined the team in 2004 after spending a year client side in a marketing role for a major manufacturer. Matt has worked across a number of accounts in the entertainment and Retail sectors and currently focuses his time on developing new tools and solutions for our clients.
Ffion Turner, Business Science Director
Ffion joined Business Science in 2004 as a BSc Economics from Leicester University and MSc Economics graduate of UCL. Ffion has worked across many of our clients and therefore has strong cross sector experience including Finance, Retail, Charities, Pharmaceutical and FMCG. She has worked both with UK clients and globally. Ffion is highly skilled at building strong partnerships with our clients and integrating with their teams. The analytics she delivers is always bespoke and responsive.
Ffion now heads up the teams across our Northern UK offices, bringing a wealth of experience and ensuing the work delivered is to the same high standard as our London office.
George Gloyn, Business Science Associate Director
George came fresh to Business Science after his BSC and MSC in Business Economics and Finance and has been with us since 2006. During his time here George have worked across some of our biggest accounts including Sky, Mars, Prudential, COI and RBS. Over that time he’s overcome the challenges of integrating analytics into the heart of media planning, managing and optimising spend across a wide portfolio and ensuring that Business Science insight always informs and improves strategy.
Sarah Stallwood, Business Science Associate Director
Sarah Stallwood joined Business Science in 2006 after gaining a Dual MA and a BA Hons in Economics and subsequently working for IBM and Ninah Consulting. Sarah has worked across a number of brands and sectors including VW, RBS Retail, Digital UK and Cancer Research UK. Sarah has been key to building partnerships with new clients and broadening and deepening our analytical offering.
Sarah is now focused on extending our reach to clients outside of MediaCom and working to improve our external links to develop our thought leadership across the industry.
Camilla Cecarini, Business Science Associate Director
Camilla joined business science in 2009 as Senior Econometrician after two years at the Nielsen Company. She works with clients across a variety of industries, including technology, FMCG and charity. Currently she focuses on retail and entertainment. Outside work, Camilla loves baking. She is also a keen runner. (To burn off those cakes!). Camilla has an MA in Quantitative Marketing and Management Science from the University of Rotterdam.
Sam Veitch, Business Science Director
Sam has recently joined Business Science UK with over 12 years of Marketing Analytics and consultancy experience. He has worked across many industries including automotive, retail, telecoms and FMCG.
Sam was a joint co-author of the IPA Marketing Effectiveness Grand Prix winning paper : John Lewis – Making a nation cry… And buy (2012). While in the same year being co-author of a further 4 papers.
Olga Zaitseva, Business Science Director
Olga joined Business Science UK team in 2008 after running our Business Science team in Russia for a few years. She has over 12 years experience in the media industry running econometrics and marketing effectiveness projects across a wide range of industries and clients including Pepsi, VW Group, Mars, Nokia, P&G, Dell, GSK, Shell, Cancer Research UK, Bayer and others. Olga is an expert in turning the data into useful and actionable insights which help her clients to improve their business performance. Olga holds a MSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics.
Victoria Roshal, Business Science Associate Director
Victoria has 12 years’ experience in leading analytical engagements, with expertise in the fields of marketing, competition, price dispersion and substitution analyses. She received her M.A.(res.) in Economics from the Hebrew University and worked on numerous projects in academic, public and business areas. Her experience in marketing analytics ranges from FMCG and retail clients to global financial service providers and consumer electronics manufacturers.
Prior to joining MediaCom in February 2013, Victoria led the analytics team of MarketShare EMEA and headed a research team for the Chief Government Statistician of Israel.
Clementine Webb, Business Science Associate Director
Clem joined Business Science in 2014, and has over 10 years experience in marketing analytics both agency and client-side. She’s worked across Entertainment, Gaming, FMCG, Retail, Transport, Pharmaceuticals, and Finance with a current focus on Beauty, Healthcare, and Retail. Clem studied a Natural Sciences degree at Cambridge University.
Outside of client work, Clem is developing new tools with a particular focus on integration with 20/20 systems thinking.
Laima Bendziunaite - Business Science Associate Director
As MediaCom’s lead global analyst on Royal Dutch Shell, Laima is an expert in evaluating historical media performance, assessing opportunities and advising clients on the optimum investment laydown going forward across lines of business, brands and markets.
Having worked on a wealth of very successful British brands, including, bmibaby, Thomas Cook, Clarks, ITV and McDonald's analytics, Laima has solid experience in the travel, retail and entertainment sectors. She also has experience working as part of a start-up consulting for a new school for children with special needs in Indonesia.
Laima gained an MSc in Econometrics at Vilnius University, Lithuania. Besides being a keen power-of-media examiner, Laima enjoys baking and mt-biking.
Emma Whitehouse - Business Science Associate Director
Emma joined Business Science in 2008 after gaining a BSc in Economics at Loughborough University and has since worked her from Graduate Econometrician to Associate Director. She is an award winning member of the team having co-authored the Gold and Grand Prix IPA Effectiveness paper for Digital UK in 2012 and winning Marketing Weeks Insight Innovation award with Skoda in 2016.
Emma has a wealth of experience across Finance, Public, Telecommunications and Automotive sectors. Outside of client work, she manages our recruitment programme.
